TGIF Scrappin’: Supply Stash

Is it Friday already? Just two short weeks till Christmas.  I still have shopping, wrapping, baking and meal planning....... pretty much everything left to do.

This week I created a double page 8x8 layout using only supplies from my scrapbooking stash.

Photos are matted with a 1/4 inch cardstock border, holiday designer paper cut 3"x7 1/2", added ribbon to both pages and created a simple journal box.

Page one has a sleigh die-cut where I added the 'Believe' K & Company  Rub-on Magic and created embellishments with sequins and brads, used foam adhesive squares to mount to the ribbon.

On page two I created an embellishment with the polymer christmas tree embellishment and added sequins in various colors to create an scalloped edge and red polka dot primas with button accents.  I also added the 'HoHoHo' sentiment using the K & Company Rub-on Magic rub-ons.

Supplies can be purchased at: Two Peas in a Bucket, Scrapbooking.com and ScrapbookSuperCenter.com

Now it is your turn, so dust off  those supplies you just had to have and get creating.

Product Review - K & Company Rub-on Magic

Rub-on Magic

I really liked this product, included were 2 sheets of rub-ons (about 30), 4 tubes of glitter and wooden rubbing stick.  The rub-ons transfer with very little pressure and the backing was easy to remove.  The only downfall is the glitter did not adhere very well to the rub-on and was easily wiped off.  I would rate this product a 3 out of 5.

TGIF Scrappin: Photo Essence

Hello everyone and TGIF!  This week I will be sharing with you a  Christmas layout that is simple to create and shows you how one photo can be the essence of your layout. Just by adding a few embellishments and title I have made this a gorgeous Christmas theme layout using a 5x7 photo.

For this layout I used a 5x7 photo of my daughter, double matted the photo in coordinating blue and cranberry cardstock.  Created a red ribbon border  using three large white brads and a 3-D K and Company chipboard Christmas accent.  The photo is off-centered to the lower right corner of the designer paper and accented with coordinating red, blue and white felt snowflakes, which add texture to my layout.

Product Name: K and Company Chipboard Christmas Accent, Felt Snowflakes, Christmas Ribbon
